Mission Statement
The South Central Cooperative is a multi-service agency which provides specialized services desired by the agencies it serves.
What is the South Central Cooperative?
The South Central Cooperative is an interschool district educational service unit authorized under the authority of South Dakota Codified Law 13-5-31. Initially organized in 1974 to provide speech, language and hearing services, the Cooperative has since expanded to offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, early childhood special education services and school psychology services to its member districts.

How is the Cooperative Funded?
The Cooperative receives federal, state and local school district funds.
How are Services Provided?
Direct services are provided on-site within the geographic boundaries of the member school districts.
